This week I’ve been out and about getting some inspiration after visiting two used car dealers in the north east. It served as a very clear reminder just how entrepreneurial those working in this industry can be.
Elsewhere, there’s been some welcome tariff news – with a love in between the US and UK leaders paving way for lower rates. But is it any good?

What’s happening?
This week I’ve been in the north east for a series of car dealer visits – some of whom I’ve wanted to see for myself for years.
I had the opportunity to look around two brilliant sites – Scott Sibley’s Redgate Lodge, in Newcastle, and the supercar dealer Acklam Cars, based just outside Middlesbrough.
Now these two businesses might be operating at two different ends of the market, but what struck me was there were a number of similarities too. But, most notably, one stood out above the rest.
